  I rarely leave reviews but this deserves a special mention. The place itself is lovely and the food is decent but the staff are the surliest, rudest most unprofessional bunch of people I’ve ever met. Can’t even string a bill together correctly and give you change. Frankly disgraceful. Management is inept and incompetent. Card payments only after 10 am, constantly broken ATM, limited overpriced and unappetising breakfast. I wish I could give minus stars.

  First time in Freetown so my expectations were low but they are quite standard, I shouldn't have listened to what others said about the city. The rooms had a very strong antiseptic smell about them though so at least you knew they took cleaning seriously. Everything I ate there was fantastic. Be prepared to pay cash though. There POS had issues and their BDC didn't have change for about 2 nights. You'll also need to carry an adaptor for a three pin plug as they use the American type of sockets. They might give you but then they might be fully booked too.

  The patio had some of the best views in Freetown and is a great place to knock out some work or knock back some drinks while you watch the sunset. The food is good and service is as close to good as it gets in Salone. Process are spendy but not out of this world.

  Nice clean air conditioned rooms and friendly staff. Great pool and bar area. The restaurant menu is good and I would recommend the roast beef with gravy and mashed potatoes.
